EdX Courses Open and Free

A quick post here simply to remind the StockTwits audience that EdX is open, and taking enrollment. There are several courses open, and mainly quantitative, but it is nonetheless a great opportunity to hone or learn skills. If you’re unfamiliar with EdX, give their website a click through at this link here.

Our immediate focus is Intro to Computer Science (CS50x) with David Malan. You cannot ignore the growing demand for computational skills, and so we recommend readers of this blog and students in the network to check out the course at this link. If you’ve already passed an intro course, take a step a further with Software as a Service, Artificial Intelligence, or Circuits and Electronics.

In addition to all of this, there is a big picture trend that can no longer be ignored – the first 7 courses offered by EdX are quantitative.
