I look at a ton of finance blog posts.
Occasionally, I come across one or in this case a series in which the writer is truly inspired – in which he shares a part of his core wisdom and the value to the reader is outsized. Recently, Sean McLaughlin (AKA @ChicagoSean) has been doing just that in his The Minimalist Trader Series. He’s got seven of them so far and if we are lucky he will continue this thread as he is truly developing a framework and mindset.
Here are the links to the series in order of appearance on his blog:
Applying the Art of Minimalism to the Art of Trading: A Series of Exploration
Minimalism in Trading: An Interview with Everett Bogue
The Minimalist Trader: A Framework
The Minimalist Trader: High Overhead
The Minimalist Trader: Over-Trading
The Minimalist Trader: Trading with the Rent Money
The Minimalist Trader: Indicator Abuse
Easily a book here. Wiley, are you reading?
